hi
i have justbought a welsh pony hes extremly friendly but we were looking for a horse we could ride so i am looking for traing tips
i have hired a trainer to come and work with us. so please help!!!

before u start training him to ride make sure you establish ground training as well..because when u do..training him to ride will be alot better and easier and you will have already established the bond that's what i learned

well if you lunge him make sure use the same voice commands u would use in the saddle just because then hes accustomed to them and it keeps him from getting confused while ur in the saddle at what you are asking him
