i have justbought a welsh pony hes extremly friendly but we were looking for a horse we could ride so i am looking for traing tips
i have hired a trainer to come and work with us. so please help!!!

if you cannot ride your welsh pony,try looking for other horses for lease on the computer,it will help you so you do not have to buy another horse!

Those ponies have alot of energy and don't stop for anything. I have had 3 of them and all 3 have put me in the dirt many times. I just learned to treat the ground as a really good friend and not be scared of what you think will happen if something goes wrong. I've learned if you think it will go wrong it will and it may not be pretty.

y did you buy the pony if you can't ride it? Are you training it or is it phyiscally unridable because of age, etc.??

i bought as it was soon going to be dog food then i realised he had show potential.

anyway all the training we put in was for nothing, he died in april after a nasty fall.

Yeah, he's gorgeous. We had a pony that looked almost exactly like that, but he misbehaved SOOOO bad!!! It was soo annoying. He wouldn't canter he didn't respond to light pressure...we finally just sold him. Yeah and I think the pony we had was a Welsh too!
