Im new!

Hey everyone. Im Jyl from Michigan.

I own an 16.1, 12 year old American Saddlebred Gelding named America's Independence, Indy for short.
He's a rescue horse. I got him 2 years ago and he's an amazing boy. We show, and ribbon in, english eq., english pleasure and low level hunters.
I also show a 16 hh, 13 year old American Quarter Horse gelding named A Silent Lark, aka Lark. He's my western show horse, and an amazing one at that.

So, it's nice to meet everyone. I'd love to get to know some other hunters, or anyone from any discipline. =)

hey there! my name is Vicky! welcome to canter culture..i have a rescue horse too! i have a 16 hh, 17 year old thoroughbred gelding..he's such a cutie! i ride english too but i don't show..i'd rather just ride..hehe..i actually started really riding when i joined the equestrian team at my old school and then a year later i adopted lucky..he's on my profile under my horses!!

He's too cute! It's so great that you adopted him, too!

Indy was in pretty bad shape when i got him 2 years ago. He is my 2nd horse and i've been riding for 14 years now. I didn't show for the first 12 years i rode, and now just do small, community open shows. I love it!

Just a question, your QH wouldn't happen to be a son of Rugged Lark would he? I'm a big Rugged Lark fan, since his owner lives not too far from me, and is friends with my trainer.

He's not actually. I'm really not sure how they came up with A Silent Lark. Haha. I didn't name him. =)

hey! i have a thoroughbred gelding 16.3hh, 13yrs old i show him hunter/humper! hes pretty amazing!! :) i also have TWH mare 16hh 9yrs old. we ride her western! shes cool, but i have her up for sale because i dont have much time to ride her so im paying my trainer to ride her 3-5 times a week. ughh! im also new to canterculture but its pretty cool! i'll be talking to ya! :P
