soon im going to be on a ride across ground for 2 days and im lacking in training.
prince has a belly that drags on the ground and although im starting on his new diet but hes not the best hacker.
im also taking my new horse as my mates horse wont travle to the hacking station and eddy aswell is not the best hacker.

so i was just wondering if their is any extra food or good exercises i could do to help my fat ponys become happy and healthy?

If you take an out of shape horse and an out of shape rider and put them through something neither is ready for, it is very likely one or both of you will suffer from exaustion of one type or another be it heat exaustion, dehydration, muscle soreness and cramping or simply to tired to eat. Any of the vets or expierenced horse ppl out there will tell you that its alot harder for a horse to cope with and recover from theese things than humans.

so please be careful.

prince has been diognosed with a skin cancer and cant be ridden were sending him to a home and he will be better off their its sad but if i kept him i could kill him - he needs 101% attention and needs someone near at all times as the diaseases can cause them to get itchy and they will rub against anything even the helper and prince is pretty strong!

i am really sad about giving him to the home but im glad as hes only younge and i dont want him to die younge and hed have a better life their anyway.

so eddys my main horse now and im only tacking him and my mate lauras tacking her horse instead so i only have to worry about eddy and hes preety healthy all i need to work on his manners

Well my horses are kind of fat and I'm trying to get them in shape for a show this winter and I lunge them in the mouring and ride them in the afternoon. I also cut their feed back a little to keep the wheight off of them. Does that help any?? :) I'm really sorry about Prince. Tell him I hope he feels better.

careful not to trim their toes too short, a horse perched on his toes can come up lame or can have jint problems later on.
