New Baby

Our last baby of the year was born. She is a beautiful Chesnut filly. I had origionally planned to put her for sale, because her bloodlines are not what we breed, the mare was bred when we bought her. Me and my eight year old little brother were out checking the mares when we realized that my black mare had finally foaled. The foal should have been weary of people as most pasture born foals are, walked right up to my brother left her mother and followed Billy to the barn. Billy asked me if he could have the baby and I could not say no. So Billy owns his first horse which he named Lightning as my Black mares name is Thunder. Here are some pics They are so cute.

She is beautiful. What breed? Our neighbor's mare had a little colt that looks exactly like her. :cool:
