Curlin won, my man Street in second.

Amazing race!!! Both Curlin and Street Sense were the prettiest out there! My two favorites!

I love Curlin, I always have, but I really thought Street Sense had it. Both ran a great race though, as well as Hard Spun.

I missed it, I heard it was a really great race with a close finish. Does anyone know if there is a website that has a video replay of the race?

NTRA.com will have one up. Bloodhorse.com might as well, but NTRA tends to be quicker.

i agree horse racing is great! (i didnt see this race)

but has anyone wondered about the truth behind the race
most race horses are abused and if they are coming up near the back alot they are sent to the abbituar

their are only 4 ways in wich a race horses mostly die

death on a grousome track

death in trainng as it is worked to hard

destryed after being found unprofitable (eith sent out for meat or shot in the head)

their are some lucky ones who if have one good races are sent in to retirement but this again is rare

these are only facts from england and japan in america it may be diffrent and i cant understand this crulty i know japan has done some just plaine disgusting things before but harming gorgeous creatures just because they do not make a profet its just somthing a shico would do!

so remeber when watching races remember the truth behind the glamour
remeberthr death
remember the crulty
and remeber that those are real living animals just like your horse

Great race, I'm a huge fan of Curlin so I was happy when I found out he won (I am always too nervous to watchif I have a definite favorite....)

Did anyone hear about Mending Fences? Mending Fences was in a race earlier, before the preakness. He broke his cannon bone, threw his jockey when he went down, and had to be euthanized on the track. :( RIP Mending Fences......

I thought Curlin was bought for $3.5 million? No matter, still a ton of money either way.

I saw the race with Mending Fences, poor boy. RIP <3

ok... i just wanted to point out one more option...a non profitable horse is sold to whoever random person... and ends up somehow in the hands of a horse lover... my horse odyssey was sired by Pine Bluff... and he was sold as a yearling for 100,00 DOLLARS! its insane... we ended up buying him from a man who bought him from an appendix breeding farm who bought him from his racing owners. and when he dies it will be a peaceful death at home on our farm. so there are more than those 4 ways.
