Fallen off a bunch of times, never broke any bones because of horses. Broke my collarbone when I was sledding (I was 9.) and that's it. I hope your mom feels better :(

My moms horse went to bucking and the first time he bucked she wacked him in the privates with a slit rein and he started going this time he did it and she grabbed the side of the round pen swung down and hit her left rib on the side of the round pen.

I have broken 4 bones. I broke my wrist twice. The same one. I was barrel racing bareback when I was 10. And then I broke it again jumping bareback. Yes I still do everything bareback, I just know how to hang on better. I broke my ankle because a horse bolted over me and stepped on it. And I broke a rib because I was breaking a two year and she bolted when I was getting on and I jumped down landing on my knees. I grabbed her reins because she wasn't my horse and she kicked me in the ribs and my chest with both back legs. I was coughing blood for 2 weeks. It sucked. Ive also sprained a lot. And I tore my rotaters cup on my shoulder halter breaking a two year old.

i've broken 3 bones.
Left wrist twice, year apart
right clavicle

1. green horse, took off while i was getting on, dumped me, full weight on my left wrist. 12 years old.
2. spring, family issues, horse i've ridden many times before, dumped me on a 3ft jump landing on my wrist again, thought it was sprained, went to hospital 2 days later, broken in 2 places
3. green ottb, sharp turn, buck, front flip onto collarbone. thought it was dislocated, severely broken. almost broke neck and back

i have twisted fingers, jammed them, bruised ribs, i think i'm not sure, partly torn ACL, sprained ankles, wrists, bruised knee caps.i've gotten kicked in the head before too.

it's what i get for training misbehaved horses.

I have fallen off a couple times but never broken any bones. I did strain muscels in my shoulder and tear a tendon in my wrist when i was riding the horse that i just bought.

haha, where to start???
well, I should tell all now that I have never broken anything, but I have many many owies. lol.
1. 10 years old, walking next to our 17 hand QH who decided to run off and kick me in the face and chest (I now have a severe cross bite that needs surgical correction)
2. 11 years old, dislocated hip in the show arena. horse spooks at trail obstacle (had to pick up a jacket and put it on a pole) runs around the arena with the jacket caught on the horn. I get thrown into a corner.
3. 13 years old, I was riding Cynder back to the barn with just a halter and lead rope when she got caught in some loose wire and started panicking. I jumped off and landed wrong, spraining my ankle and tearing my Acheles tendon.
4. I GET SHAZ!!! this is where the fun starts. 16 years old, just learning to lope on my 4 year old arabian when my enormous dog leaps out of the bushes to chase a bird. Shaz bolts one way and I keep going the other. bruised and rotated tailbone.
5. riding in the roundpen, shaz refuses to back up and rears and falls sideways, landing on my leg and skinning my thumb.
6. now for the things that have happened in the last 2 months!!! dislocated knee! grooming my horse who is upset that he's not with the other horses who are running wild. I turn in frustration too quickly and dislocate my knee.
7. after an afternoon of a quiet english training day I get out of my saddle and step down western style (my bad) and my Iron goes forward and my foot hits the uneven ground clumsily and I sprain it yet again!
8. monday night at flag team practice. I had just drug my mare out of the pasture and threw the saddle on for the first time in a year. everything was going fine until she decided when I asked for a flying lead change that this was just not working for her. she threw up the wimpiest buck and I, for some reason unbeknownst to me, came off, dislocating my ring finger on my right hand. I would have stayed on, a beginner would have, but my saddle was already falling off her retarded mutton-withered back! psh...
lets see how tonights practice goes!!! hahaha

I've fallen off numerous times. Especially when I started my young gelding. But yet have never broken a bone. I've gotten a few concussions, strained muscles, sprained ankles, wrists, neck. But I have never broken a bone. The worst injury I have ever gotten was in school, I'm rather small, and someone accidently bumped into me, and I busted my lip on a folder. Not quite sure how the folder caused me to bust my lip, but I had to get three stitches.

most of the time my injuries are from my horse (he likes to bite...) I havent broken any bones though. Although he bit my finger one time(I still have a scar) and if he had clamped down harder he could have broken it.
