Davenport, Bluelist Arabians

I recently just got a gorgeous steele grey Davenport Blue List arabian filly. I am not very knowledgeable about arabian bloodlines because I raise quarterhorses. If anyone knows anything about these bloodlines please let me know. Thank you.

If you really would like to learn more about your filly's bloodlines I would suggest you go to the forums at awhitehorse.com. There are some VERY knowledgeable people there who know all about the differnt arab lines :p

I think arabs have wonderful bloodlines! I have a crabiet arab and she has stunning bloodlines! What is your arabain? (crabiet, polish, eyption...?)

She is Davenport and Blue List they say that is actually their bloodline.

Just as a question, I know theres slight differences in Arabians (Polish, Egyptian, etc)...Are they strictly confirmation? I remember reading about it a while ago, but I can't quite remember. It's to my understanding that each 'type' of arabian has a slightly different look?

yep, there is a difference in the way each bloodline looks. Polish arabians tend to be taller and just a little more plain (Shaz is polish). egyptians are, for the most part, smaller, more elegant, and have probably the most dished faces of them all. I believe spanish arabs are more similar to egyptians except that they are just a bit more bulky and bred for working instead of being athletes. I have no idea about davenport, google it...

I don't have an Arabian. I have a Paint that has really good bloodlines in it like Three Bargains and horses like that. But have fun with your new horse!!
