teach him to bow and sit. Thats whats next on my to do list (after I get his lope right) :D
make it so he will back up when u stand about 10 ft away from him and just wiggle ur finger, no lead, if u want to know how to do it just ask, or sidepass or turn on the forehand/hindquarters with the wave of ur hand, just refine skills he already knows
well I can get her to move her hind quarters just by looking at them a certain way, and yes she side passes as for moving her forequarters she needs practice and for backing I can just say BACK and she will start backing.

what does he already know?
she knows to back, walk, jog, trot and lope and how fast I want her to go under saddle and in the round pen on the ground, she comes when I say "come here" or "come on" I'm able to drive her with just a handy stick in the round pen, she picks up her feet for the farrier, she jumps, I can run up to her and jump on her back, she side passes on the ground and under saddle, she moves her hindquarters under saddle and on the ground, she needs practice with moving her forequarters on the ground before I can teach her under saddle, I can throw a towel on her head and she'll just stand there, I taught her to neck rein, I don't think I forgot anything if I think of something else I'll post again

well she sounds like a wonderful horse!!!...so just work on her forequarters...or if u wanna have fun, if there is a body of water somewhere close to u take her swimming...i live right by the westfield river, we take our two horses and go swimming...tempe has been up to his ears...they love it...and it is great on the joints as therapy too

does she set up on command? if you're not showing halter it obviously doesn't matter but it's nice to have a horse to do that, lol. kind of a lame command, but yeah. and teach her to bow. and to get up with you on her when she's laying down [okay you can't teach that you just pratice it, lol].
well now she's stopping on her hind end (the longest sliding stop she's done is 2 feet). And she moves her forequarters on the ground, I'm not quite sure what cue to give her under saddle, any suggestions?

Hmm, under saddle, you could teach her how to bow to. So, you can get off easier. That would be cool =D Also, teach her to keep a square position when under saddle for the show.
