barrel racing

i just got back from barrel racing it was sooooooo much fun i love it more and more everytime i go around the barrels!!! the only thing is my horse is always tring to bite me when im standing next to him, so i did what my trainer told me to do and smacked him on the nose and it did the trick. i cant wait for the next lesson, my trainer said i can go in the experianced class :D

I was just wondering if it is possible for a horse that has never had training in barrels know how to do barrels. for example i just started my horse in barrels and i have been workin with himm a little each day and with the little time I work with him he shave 28 sec. on his first time. And it also seems like he just knows what to do. :p

ya, I ride him out of the arena alot and the other day i just rode him bareback. The most I will run the pattern a day at a full run is maybe 3 times a day. :cool:
