I am going to do this trail Challange endurance race. it will be lots of fun. and i i am gin to stay the nigt too for more endurence classes. I think i will enter with ruby or chian. Chian will do anything and ruby is just green and needs to learn to side pass. and chian dose it all. i got to check in to it but i am thinking of entering on both horses in diffrent classes. but i don't know if you can do that. and hety is what the poster says.

but my biggest dlema is .... what horse should i ride is wha class and if i can ride diffrent horses in difrent classes. oh and at the bottem of the page it says

I think you should enter with Chain. He has more experience and knows what to do as well as is a lot safer to ride on risky trails. I have always wanted to go, so don't let it pass you by. I would wait with Ruby, practice her more with scary things like plastic bags and tarps. Trails can be scary and you may be riding at night, you don't want her to spook, you fall off, and her get lost in an unfamilar area. That is just my opinion.

thanks and ya i think i will enter on shian... i spelt her name wrong yet again!!!! ond i didn't mean green green like everything is scarry... and i looked on the web page on scoring and this is what i found

Cross Country Trail Challenge Awards and scoring
Awards:
* 13 & Under, Intermediate and Advanced ~ Ribbons to 8th place ~ Awards to 3rd place
* Grand Champion ~ Awards to 1st place ~ Ribbons to 3rd place.
General Rules:
All Riders
* All riders 18 or under must have a parent or guardian signature
* Must use a saddle
* Must use equestrian footwear
* Must use a bridle, halter or hackamore (with mecate)
* No riding double on event grounds
* No stallions on event grounds
* All stock staying overnight must be stalled @ $20.00 per night with a $20.00 refundable stall cleaning fee
* Primitive human camping provided July 13th & 14th
Class patterns will be posted at 8:00 AM ~ Saturday April 14, 2007.
Pattern walk through will be allowed, with show personnel and no equine at 8:15 AM ONLY.
Intermediate begins at 9:30 AM
Advanced will follow intermediate
13 & Under will begin at 10:30 AM
Classes start at 9:00 AM Saturday April 14, 2007.
Scoring will be calculated: 0 thru 12 on obstacles.
+0 = Refusal
+12 = Perfect
Cinch Check: (on up hill, down hill, & mounting obstacles)
+0 = Failed to check cinch
+2 = Checked cinch
Show office will be open:
Friday/July 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM
Saturday/July 14th from 7:00 AM to the end of the event.
Event management reserves the sole right to disputes and settlements of all issues arising from any consequences not discussed in the outline, show contracts or forms.
oh and ruby isn't scarred of everything and loves walking on tarps and she thinks plastic bags means TREATS!!!!!! but i will still work with her and stuf but i might just enter ruby in the 13& under classes ... they are easy... oh and i might as well enter shian in intermediate or get my dad to enter her and rider her

13 & Under:
* Open to children 13 years old or younger, as of January 1, 2007
* Parent or Legal Guardian must sign entry form.
* Helmets strongly recommended.
* Obstacles will be level appropriate.
* Stock must be 3 years old or older.
* This class is offered to encourage youth opportunities.
Intermediate:
* Open to any age group
* Helmets recommended
* Entry level obstacles with some challenges
Advanced:
* Open to any age group
* Helmets recommended
* More challenging obstacles
Grand/Reserve Champion:
* Top 2 placings from 13 & Under, Intermediate and Advanced Classes are eligible to compete in this class. ~ No Entry Fee
now i found some stuff to work on in order to try to win this.. and it isn't all about winning ether it is about having fun and learning to ride better .. and i don't know what the prizes are
