The cheapest at horse and kennel are $85, for adults, i don't know if the prices range for smaller sizes there or not... might want to look on Ebay for some good deals, I knew a girl that got a pair of Ariats (Sp?) for about $20 on Ebay...

If you buy used ones you get can get a much better deal for your money

I got an amazing pair from Dover by Saxon for, I believe, $100. They're not real leather, but they look and feel exactly like leather without the upkeep.They've very comfortable, fit me better than my leather boots, and were far less painful to break in. :)

If you choose to buy a used pair, they'll already be broken in for you. However, just be careful when buying from sites such as eBay.

Check out on the internet for Victory Field Boots, you can get em for around #250.00 and their Italian leather and comfortable footbed. Plus they have a metal zipper up the entire back of the boot, easy on-easy off!

Eee I tried those on when I was looking for tall boots! Very nice. But none fit me right, so I caved and bought a nice pair of Ariats. (;

If you are buying boots for $100 you are either getting the best deal on the planet, or a pair of really crappy boots. I paid over $200 for mine (cheap, I know) and the leather is so stiff and hard to break in. They also have no grippiness in the saddle, and aren't comfortable. I would recommend Ariats, which can be as low as $250-ish. If you really want boots, pay for good quality ones instead of horrible ones that will break soon. And if you don't want to spend over $100 for tall boots, what are you doing in one of the most expensive sports in the world?

I love the Dublin RCS Aristocrat Field boots that I have! They only cost about $160, and the only thing you have to worry about is the zipper locking to the side. Great investment!

(Haha, the other night I had the weirdest dream about my tall boots. I got off my horse and the toe broke open! LOL!!!)

Ooh! I love Ariats! They have a hole in them because I wore them everywhere, but I still love em. I sowed the leather [omgosh it is sooo hard!] but the seams came out...I'll try again. I don't ride anymore, but when I do, I'll just keep using those boots, hole or no hole. They fit great, and until my family's financial situation is a bit better, I can hold off on a new pair. I don't need tall boots [only if I show, which may never happen], and I can get a pair of half chaps. They were my birthday present for my 13th [$115 bucks at my local tack store, plus the cost of socks ;)] from my dad.
