Depends. Once a week or more. How about yourself?

Usually a few times a week, preferable every other day. I try to preserve it for as long as possible.

I have a sentethic western saddle so I clean it before every show or when it gets really dusty I will clean it.
I haven't had time lately but usually every 3-4 days and once a month I will put some leather dressing on it.It's a cheap work saddle so it's kind of rough around the edges (cuts, dents, scratches, cheap leather ect...)

I wipe the underside after every ride to get rid of any sweat that might have seaped through my saddle pad. I'll also quickly do the seat, too. But a complete cleaning I only do once a week or so.

i've always cleaned my bridle and saddle after every time i ride. once in a while i'll cheat and let it go for one day if i only rode like 5 minutes. actually my mom usually does it for me in the school year just to save time when i'm hosing tristan off. i like doing it myself, but like i said on school nights time is very valuable.
and i always tie up my bridle.

yikes! baby oil should Never be used on a saddle. You need to clean, condition, and seal the leather. Baby oil creates a slippery seal that doesn't let moisture in or out.
Instead you should clean thoroughly with leather new or a similar product, condition with a vegatable based oil or cream, and seal with a slightly dampened bar of saddle soap.
Right now I use this beeswax based leather sealant made specifically for tack. It's called Leather New Balsam (It's by Farnam) it waterproofs and conditions, and I always use it after I soap my saddle :) Also: when you get a new saddle or stirrup leathers, use neatsfoot oil sparingly. It really helps to soften the leather, and add some grip. With your leathers, soak them (if they are buffalo , like mine) overnight in the oil, then buff them dry. However, if you use too much, you can rot the leather itsself as well as the stitching. Lastly, the leather conditioner should only be used about once a month (unless your saddle/bridle is quite dry) otherwise they can rot or reins etc can break more easily.

I clean my tack before shows. Thats all I have time for. If I cleaned my saddle after everytime I ride, I would only be cleaning tack as I ride horses all day long. But I use that Leather cleaner foam. It is excellent.

I have a synthetic work saddle and I've had it for a year and have yet to clean it, it's not really dirty. I'll clean the seat occasionally, but other than that, it doesn't need it.
Now my show saddle, which is leather...ha! Before and after every show! I lug it up to my hotel room if I stayed at a hotel and I clean it the night before and double check it the morning of. I'm paranoid about dust on my show stuff.lol.
I agree, very well saidWhy thank you :D
