Definately collected. At a more collected pace you can manipulate your horse more easily and can work on exercises such as shoulder-ins, haunches-in, etc. Extended gaits are very limited except to show the amount of impulsion and reach a horse has.

Regular bridles. Only because I hate seeing an unexperienced rider using a hackamore. It makes me shiver. >.< I guess if it is an experienced rider, it's alright. But I will always prefer regular. xD
