i've always been taught to tie my bridle up to be put in tack room. when i say tie up i mean having the rein buckle at the headpiece, like you're holding it. and then everything's hanging right and you take the throat lash from right [the bridle's right] over the front of everything and wrap it around back until its on the bridle's left and slip the end through the keeper like when you do it up [not buckle it]. and then i wrap the noseband around and put it through the keeper.
okay, i probably went into WAY too much detail but yeah. haha. i'm pretty OCD when it comes to things like this. sometimes at my barn i just randomly become the "bridle fairy" and tie up every bridle in the tack room. everything looks so much neater when they're all nice and done up =D
i know, i'm odd.

Ahhhh. I haven't "figure-eight-ed" a bridle since New Haven! I totally loved it though, I'm weird but cleaning the tack after riding, putting it away properly, made me feel like I wasn't just using tack to throw it away and ruin it.
Haha. I don't anymore. I started to at RR, then someone one day was like "Yeah, I grabbed a bridle from Jasper's hook at it was tangled.." WHOOPS!
If I ever got my own horse, I probably would after cleaning it. :o)

I know how, but I don't since at my barn we all have our own lockery things that are huge. And it has a nice little hook so I never saw the need.

at my barn its a rule that after you ride you clean your bridle and wrap it.
along with balsaming your saddle atleast once a week.

I used to figure eight my bridle EVERY SINGLE DAY at my old barn, but now I'm just too lazy. I probably will start doing it again after I move down to the main barn... but my other bridle (which I don't use) is like, permanently figure-eight'ed. (:

I was taught to, and I used to, but I basically have my own tack room, so I just make sure it's put away nicely and not tangled, but I don't figure-eight it often. I should start to again.

I usually just hook the reins thru the throatlash and hang it from a hook. I do my stirrup leathers a funny way tho.

Every bridle at the barn MUST be figure-eighted or my trainer takes it away.

I really don't have a bridle rack or anything. So...No I don't tie my bridle.

Used to be like that at my old barn. She wouldn't take them away, but she would start yelling at you if you didn't. xD
Now, I have my own locker, so I don't usually. I do when I go to shows, so that everything stays neat and organized. ^^

I do it every day, but now that you mention it, I think I actually forgot to do it today!
