I think that everytime someone posts a video, it's either one or the other of Anky or Andreas.
My favourite is a speed derby vid of Tiziana Realini. Talk about AWESOME.
Or one of Karen O'Connor, she almost falls for elimination but hangs on, climbs back up and takes her next jump.

Andreas and Matine...I can't believe how straight the one-time tempis are. Gives Schmidt a run for his money! And the passage! BAH! How relaxed the mare is, the floppy ears, relaxing and loose tail. Just try and tell me that that horse is not truly enjoying what she's doing. I've always loved Anky, but this particular performance by Helgstrand is sensational!!!

huge ditto. This mare seems completely connected, engaged, and relaxed from ear to tail.

These two videos made me really, really take a second look at dressage. These videos are what dressage is supposed to be - a dance. Just amazing. Really. And how well Salinero and Anky preform to the music...and her singing over it and the composers and stuff...just simply amazing.

I am not a dressage or current english rider, but this is outstanding. Dressage is so difficult, but so easy all at once. In the first video, the horse's collected canter is amazing, but of course everything the horse and rider did were amazing. The horse is gorgeous too. In the second video, the horse's tail is wild =D. What amazes me is the reaches and feet level. The extended trot is so graceful and the first canter is gorgeous. Both videos make me think twice about a canter and gallop. The extended canter is so fast. Both horses look so excited to be doing it too.

Oh man. This videos freaking made my cry. So beautiful... I think my favorite part between the two is in the second one where Helgstrand hugs his mare, that really brought tears to my eyes. Love these videos, lovelovelove.

I had always been under the impression that Dressage was performed to music, but someone told me it wasn't. Now I was happy to see that the videos were indeed choreographed to music. :D It's so beautiful when you have music to express the movements and vice versa.
Thanks for posting!

I love these videos (: They're both absolutely amazing. The horses... wow. They look like they enjoy their job (:
And Stargirl, I'm pretty sure it's only done to music if it's 'freestyle'. (: But I'm not 100% sure.

you are thinking of freestyle. I certainly think freestyle dressage is the ultimate expression of the bond between horse and rider
