If she is a true black, ANY color will look fabulous - however, try a neon purple before you commit.... :)

Not hard on ebay. I have three pink halters, and I've seen a pink bridle, pink saddle blanket, pink and brown saddle, pink and black saddle...pink lunge line...loads of stuff on ebay.

Though one of my pink halters was $15.99 without s&h, the other two were $2.99 each without s&h.

Pastel blue sounds pretty too.

I think light colors (pastel blue, rose pink, lavender) or neon colors probably look the best on black.

I think all bright colors look good on black horses. But the pastel purple sounds good!

You can find a bunch of pink and purple stuff on www.freespiritent.com . My wish list is full of the purple stuff. Also, Sportack has neon stuff, and it is quality, too. Don't have their url, tho.

Cute horse. Bad color. Though it really doesn't matter the color if you're not a girl. The owner probably only has access to that one...it's a nice halter in composure though, I bet.

Oh my god. The black horse I want also has chestnut coloring in her too! She's pregnant, and the percentage that the baby's coloring will be black is 75% and percentage it will be chestnut is 25%...she can't have any other color baby cause I think the stallion is homozygous for black.

Anyway, really light pink will be good so long it doesn't look white...I only like really bright brand-new white. But, technically, these are all just opinions, hehe.

I ride western, I have a black horse, and I like purple on her, though I used to hate purple, I don't anymore. Dark blue looks awful on most black horses though! I tried my old dark blue show blanket on Star when I got her and everyone at the barn (they were there at the same time) were all like "ooh, not her color!!!!" And I had to agree, dark blue just didn't do her justice...purple, pink, fuschia, and bright jewel tones (quoting Hobby Horse now lol) look great on black horses....so does orange, though most ppl don't seem to like orange too much...

Well on ebay, you can get a pink halter for $2.99, a lead rope for just a little higher (by the same person). The shipping is $7-something, unless you get more than one item, in which the shipping is cheaper per item (with two for me, it was $11-something...I think seventeen dollars total because I got two halters).

The pink saddle I saw ranges from $289-300-something (think 320-something) with about a 69 buck shipping fee and has saddle blanket, I think a bridle, and a couple of other things with it. There are more than one. It varies upon the size of the saddle and if it's bid now or buy now

A pink bridle I saw that is always up is $10.80...not sure about shipping though.

If you can get stuff on ebay, I could help you find them if you want.

Yes. There's also a black one with a pink seat, but I worry it might be too small for the horse I finally get. I want one either my height or taller...at least 15 hands. The black one would be the one I want if not for the possibility of it being too small. and the tan ones are cute too anyway.

Ooh, if that's true and I were to get the black saddle (like i said, prob too small so I wouldn't), I'd only put it on her in winter. And only on a day where she's shivering. And I wouldn't go too fast.
