We also have a saddle we're helping one of our customers sell.

It is a very nice 20" Duett Fox Hunter (AP) with a 32 cm tree. This saddle is in brand new condition. It's a very pretty two-tone black and havana brown, suitable for trails, training, lower level Dressage, and breed shows.

Because of it's deep seat, it rides more like a 19" saddle. This saddle is perfect for a larger rider, or one with long legs that likes some seat room.

I wrote a letter to the Senate of the United States of America, about my opinion of horse slaughter. And, how inhumane and cruel it is. And, he wrote back saying he will try to help STOP horse slaughter!!

Thanx SO MUCH Crazy4horses for your help. When I made my round of calls today to Senators (one wasn't even mine, but he had a record of opposing the bill so I left a few 'facts' for his perusal - Senator Cantor) I was really happy to hear that they had been bombarded with calls, been 'ringin all morning' they said with calls to support the bill.
I feel like a person, if they act, may be just a drip alone, but more act and that drip becomes a trickle which becomes a stream which becomes a creek which becomes a river which crashes and tumbles all the money and greed to the ocean where it belongs...

what happened to star?

She was trimmed too short and went lame...turnes out she absessed in her front fore from being trimmed too short...I had the vet out and had to get a new farrier....in the period of 5 days between the vet and the farrier coming out, she managed to get Thrush....she's walking much better now (couldn't walk for 2 straight days, and was sore on all 4's, then she began limping and favoring the front left after a few days).

She should be alright now, I'm going to go see her this afternoon.

Crazy4horses- You are too kind. :)

Stargirl - Poor baby! Blessings for healing and health for Star. I had a farrier do that once, I couldn't ride for months!! I was livid. And this was when I was in competitive trail riding, and it was the BIG time for competition. My sympathies. :(

Thanks! :( I went to see her today...she's worse than she was, she wouldn't even move to go get dinner, they had to take the bucket to her. I feel so bad for her, but I'm so mad at the whole situation! I can't stand seeing her in pain!

I just bought my daughter a saddle from that sale. It should be here next week!! I'm thinking of getting one of the Optima saddles for myself. There's one that will even fit my big fanny! (a 19") Not like I need ANOTHER saddle, lol.

I do not need another saddle. I do not NEED another saddle. I do NOT NEED another saddle.... lol

I have heard some really good things about those Optima saddles. I know a girl on my Draftsporthorses group that swears by them.
And a girl can never have to many saddles! :D
