I am looking for a professional vanner and handler with a fairly direct route from Oregon to Virginia. My horse has been waiting and ready to go for 1.5 months. His trunk is packed, his ship wraps out and his food can be ready with 3 hours notice. He is a 16 year old, 17 hand, Trakehner gelding, GP dressage competition horse. He has vanned and flown multiple times in his career.
I had three failed attempts working with air agents because the other horse(s) on the pallet backed out. I gave that up for ground. The vanner I was working with kept pushing dates back on me and having breakdowns and this is unacceptable to me.
Any lead for a professional that is safe and has integrity would be GREATLY appreciated! Please feel free to email me directly at submit@horsegirltv.com and thanks in advance for any references!
I'm thinking doing an episode on pitfalls and what not to do when working with professional transport would make a very educational piece!
Hope you all had a great weekend and TIA, Angelea
