Visuals

so, I have been teaching a few lessons and like to use visuals when I teach. for example, to sit up taller, "imagine a string tied to the top of your helmet" and they grow three inches. What images/visuals help you when you are either riding, teaching or being taught? thanks!

I remember when I was 10 my coach always used to tell me to hold my hands like I was holding cups of hot chocolate.. if I held them sideways I'd spill it all over! lol

my trainer would tell me to stay in 2 point cuz if i sat down, i would sit on a tac

and my trainer told me to keep my cups of tea steady

I had the tacks taped to the back of my saddle. I told the kids that today and their bums didn't touch the back of their saddle when I had them get in their half seat hahaha.
