This will likely undergo some revision at some point, but I really wanted to post it here just to see what you guys would think. It's about the relationship I share with my mare. There is a certain tension there because she is so strong willed. One of those horses who challenges your authority no matter how much respect they have for a person. Competitive in a good way I guess?
We mystify,
and we terrify.
Bringing wonder,
and leaving you bewildered.
In our wake,
the dust flies.
Hopefully not,
into your eyes.
No matter how challenging,
the obstacle is.
We just keep on going,
forever and ever.
Such things we've overcome,
and more are to follow.
Nothing can stand in our way,
come up with a trial and we'll pass it.
There is no other duo,
such as us.
To leave behind,
such mixed emotions.
We glide,
and we leap.
There's days we climb,
and we turn on a dime.
Best of all,
nothing shall tear us apart.
Together we stand,
united for all of eternity.
It always leaves mixed emotions like it reads in the poem with people, because when she has a 'day' or otherwise is in heat or something, she really tends to show it. O.o
