View Full Version : A Horrible Loss

A friend of my family lost a wonderful friend around 2am this early morning. A friend that has been with her through thick and thin. A friend that raised my horse Prissy Cajun Britches from birth. A friend named JW, a wonderful caring horse. JW escaped from his pasture and manajed to wonder across the highway when a Toe-Truck hit him head on. Hopefully JW had an instant death and didnt have to suffer. My mother and I drove to the friends house to bring her our sympathy and a lock of hair from Britches' tail. (they werent able to get a lock of JW's main or tail b/c he was so mangaled and since JW and Britches were so close we thought it would bless her.) We drove past were the horrifying accident occured and all we saw were JW's blood stains all over the road. I felt sickened by the sight.

Even though this horse, our friend, a family member is gone forever, he will always live with in out hearts.

That's so sad, I hope, like you, that he did not suffer.....how did he manage to get out? Hopefully they know and can prevent it from happening again....RIP JW!

OMG!!! I'm SO SO sorry. :( I'm crying.... Please tell your friend that I'm sorry and will pray and bless for JW. I'm truly sorry. :( :(

He was always an escape artists and I guess he unlached the gate somehow.

He was a really kool horse :( I met him a couple of times. He will def be missed!!

That is horrible, I'm very sorry you and your family had to experience that. I give my condolences. RIP JW.

I am SOOOO sorry, we had to put my cat to sleep last night, I grew up with her and I was cring my eyes out when she died. :( I will pray for you and you ffriend, I have lost 2 horses in my life time, and only one I remember. I know what it feels like to loose your best friend... I'm so sorry...
