So the horse I ride is Lame, he has been for a while, like weeks. How long do you think it will take for him to recover ? I'm really looking foward to riding him again.

Probably a week or two depending on how severe it is. Sorry your horse is lame i hope he gets better sooner.

unless you know what is wrong with him you can't tell, if it is something really bad he cood be lame forever, if it is like an abcess, he shood be ok in a few weeks, there are so many reasons why a horse can go lame, no one will know for sure how long he will be lame unless they know what it is. My mare Limelight went lame for a week because of an abcess, my old horse Max was lame for the last 4 years of his life because of a problem in his knee

he's lame because he went on a trail ride and he stepped on a stone or something.

It generally takes anywhere from days to weeks. A vet could give you a better timeframe, but I can only give you information based off of my own experiences.
I know the feeling though. My horse went lame for a few days at one point. :(

He probably has a bruised sole, or an abcess.
Abcesses can get nasty if they aren't given proper care. Talk to your riding instuctor.
You don't need to double-post. Don't worry, people will reply.
