I'm looking a jumper to buy. My horse cannot jump anymore, so he is becoming my mom's trail horse. If you know of one in Northeast Florida, let me know (price range 0 to 5,000)

Look at this gelding. I almost just scrolled right by him because he looked a little weird with his riders... unusual... equitation. Are you looking for an experienced jumper or a greeny? He looks to be healthy and a bold mover, I'd definitely like to see him going over jumps...

Do you know when you are going to look at her? Did you see her temperment (4). Also I thought you didn't like mares?!

Remember guys, this year is almost over, he'll be 6 soon. Actually I don't think 5 (6) is too young, it depends on his temperament and if the rider likes him. I would buy him because he is very flashy and looks like he would take on anything that came his way. The bay mare is pretty, but she looks more like the pleasure type with her long and thin neck and dainty body. It's really up to the rider though

Now that you say that I agree on that about the mare!

Does that mean you like the mare better? I guess it's too early for my mind to figure things out this morning.

I would get the paint. I know some ppl think they look best in western tack, but I'd teach paints to jump if I had my own horses.
(Then again, I probebly wouldn't show them much because I'd make so many errors lol)
But I LOVED the first chestnut tb that alliekk put with the six. If I were to buy one, I'd pick either the tb or the paint...those are my faves. =)

I have a paint but she doesn't have any of the tri-colorness. She is a breeding stock paint.

It's going to be hard to find a jumper for that price. What division are you competing in?

If he's as quiet as he sounds, I really like that one. It's hard to tell from the one picture, but his legs aren't as neat as I'd like. He's only jumping 2'3", so I'm not sure if he'll jump as high as you'd like.
