the asking price is 30,000.she has also been free schooled in the jumping ring and has done very well.she's off getting more training with a jumper/hunter rider chris alfonzo.not sure if i spelled his name right.we need to thin our herd out,her owner,my boss is working with her full brother tango.we mainly breed jumper, and have several very good one.my boss diana miller rides dressage and this horse is more geared toward jumping or a hunter.but we like to teach them all a little dressage so we can market them to any type of rider.anyone intersted can call diana at 304-677-5158,tell her you heard about this horse from this site and shawn.

Yeah I kinda agree. 5 ft is EXTREMLY high for a young horse. I think it could possibly make them lame or have hoof/ankle injuries.

I think you should start to jump a horse at the age of 4 years old. But deffintly not 3 because their bones are still really devoluping.

I think you should jump a horse at the age of 5 and higher. Becuase 4 years old is still kinda young. But I guess it also depends on the breed of horse. But, yeah, I agree with DixieGirl! ;)

well you can start jumping them at low cross rails or ground poles at 4 though.

You can start jumping a horse over poles and VERY small crossrails at three.

It's really common sence. If that horse is going to be made into a Hunter/Jumper you can start to jump it. Then you just make the jumps higher as the horse gets older.

age three is just the starting of training, you shouldnt even be on them yet. and i really wouldnt start jumping them high at the age of 5, age four you should just do ground poles just so they can get the feel of it and gradually start to do bigger jumps.

Ya, that makes sense. I think a 5 year old, jumping 5 ft is way way to high and advanced for such a young horse.
