Riding activities for club!

Hey ya i am in this club call the Jr BCH Of WASHINGTON. and we have been riding for a whole year now ( started a year ago) and we ned so arena ride ideas, so far we have....
-horse soccer
-obstacle course/ trail course
-costume contest
-pie eating
-arena edict
-basic riding patterns at walk trot and canter
-jumping
-parade practice

any other ideas they will be greatly appreciated we are mainly a trail riding club but trail riding is the easy pare riding in the arena is the hard part for most

Hm..

Do you do anything related to speed events? Maybe some poles?

Maybe some type of horse ball where the players are on horses and they have to pass the ball between their team and shoot in a hoop, kind of like basketball, but horsey! Oh yes as Raggle said races to! An idea for that is to place an item each on two sets of poles and race to see why can get the object of the end pole and get back first. :D

ya we did a bucket race we had a bucket tied to a lead rope and we had them run around a human pole and it was kinda like a tag team.. and the team to win get to pic the first player on their hose soccer team

It would be cute if you could get ur horses to do bobbing for apples!! That would be CUTE!!

how about a game where the riders get into pairs and they have to go over jumps together staying in sequence. it would definetly be a team work game and i think it would be fun!

also u could do do an obstacle course. for ex: trot around 3 barrels in a line, go over a crossrail, grab a flag, and canter back through the finish line.

i have been playing horse soccer and now everyone calls my horse the BEAST.. because she won't let no one get the ball and she wil be cantering and the ball will be in the air then hit her in the chest and then we take a few more strides and make a goal!!

thats all really cool but you could try to do some wood pulling.Tie a piece of wood to a rope and tie it to the saddle. walk trot canter and back up with i tied.
