I second that. I personally don't really like Troxels ... no offense to anyone you uses them. I just find them uncomfortable, mind you I have a weirdly shaped head. xD

Yeah bike helments aren't that safe. They are like riding in tennis shoes!

Looks safe and pretty decent to me. I've got a Troxel, too. I just can't stand the way the thing feels.

My little sister, 8, is just learning to ride and she has that helmet, and it's a great helmet that holds up to just about anything, falling, rain, all that stuff! It's really safe and I had one just like it, and when I fell off it always protected me really well.

I live in Southern OH... I got my blue one up in Newark OH while working at the Boy Scout camp up there....my current helmet was smooshed by a tree when I was chucked off and I had to run into TSC and grab a new one on my way back from Urgent Care. The Fuschia one I got at Equine Affair in Columbus, OH.

I had a troxel like that for quite a while, and still have it. It's lasted a long time and it's still in great condition. My friends use it whenever they're at the barn and need a helmet. I have an IRH now, and it's MUCH better than a troxel, but they can be quite expensive if you just do a little bit of riding.

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of the plastic. I've always had velvet helmets before I finally got my GPA (huge splurge). But if you're not showing, it's totally fine. :)
