I need to sell this horse!
http://canterculture.com/custom_view_horse_profile.php?recKey=2271

and he needs to go to a hunter jumper barn. he's athletic, scopey and very elegant. he's got tons of personality- but in a good way

I show appaloosas, and I show western pleasure, our intentions were to have him as a stallion for english, but things didnt work out, and he got gelded and know FAMOUS; as we call him, is just standing around and eatting our food! if we had a huge pasture, we'd keep him BUT WE DONT, so we have to find him a home :[ he's super bold, and not afraid of anything, clips/hauls and baths like he's 20 years old, but HES NOT! LOL! ^___^

so, help me out? remember, even if you live far away, you can request a video/ and find a horse hualer. :D

he's sound and all that jazz as well!!!

SORRY I know this isnt the horse board, but it seems the most active board, and I REALLY need help with selling him, since with that money I get myself a fancy app barrel horse :D :D :D

Srry, I'm not a jumper. He is so so so s so so so so so so so so so so PRETTY!!! I would love to have him but I can't. He would be an all around good horse (EP,WP,Halter, ect). I think he would be good at all.

I KNOW!

personally to me, if I had the choice of picking between getting a car that is say.....around 15k and a horse around 15k I'd pick the horse

LOL! ^___^

I mean, im gonna be 17 soon, I havent even started doing my permit D: but, that'll be started next week-ish.

but I'd rather save the money for the car, so I can go show at youth worlds/ Nationals next year :D :D and then got to the WORLD with deano or baby and snappleapple.

Advertise him on sites like HorseTopia and such but PLEASE screen the buyer (potential).

I absolutely love him. Like, completely. If oyu lived near me, I'd try to convince my parents to buy him.

He's beautiful - how much is he being sold for?

You should probably post on the Horses for Sale board next time. ;)

Edit: $7000? Not bad at all! Good horses around here are ridiculously expensive, over $20000 - it's insane.

I don't mean to be rude but I'd be very suprised if you got 10k for him. He's a 3 year old TB with an average build at best who's rushing and counterbent on the lunge line. He looks like a nice guy but he seems very For 10k anywhere in the nation you can find a proven TB at the local shows or a stunning WB foal. I picked up a horse who had won over 3'9 for only 6500, and for 10k I know people who got some incredible prospects.
I certainly hope you get 10k for him but keep in mind with the market this low, many horses are going for a fraction of the amount they would have sold for only 3-4 years ago.

your wrong, he's not a thoroughbred, he's a quarterhorse- we can get 10k for him. :] because, guess what? his bloodlines are some of the very best in the nation and on the QH circuit, that makes or breaks alot of horses, even so he is not breeding stock, clearly, because he is a gelding, but his bloodlines are proven. and to tell you the truth, I have some Hunter jumper friends who train with an olympic rider, and they said he's priced right as well ;] please stop ridculing my horses, I know I asked for opinions in the "good comformation?" post but I didnt ask for it here.

really depends, my friend just spent 65k on a wb mare for jumping who only has about 2 months more training on her then famous does, and she's 5. :/ but she's bred to do pretty high level A circuit type jumping

really, it all depends, we have a vast range in California. your regional to world quality QH riding horses range from 10k to 100k on average- thats if and ONLY if they can compete , and compete well at QH breed shows.

these are some horses that I know of, that live within about 50 miles of me, and compete at the QH shows in my region

this two year old is 25k

and, my horse snappy beat this mare in w/p at an open show -50k

I certainly wasn't trying to redicule you, simply stating my opinion. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you get however much you ask for him.
