Wonderful facility for Imports!

:D I just bought a horse from Holland and since she is a mare she has to be in quarantine for 2 weeks (stallions are even more...like 5-6 weeks!)
My point is...I wanted to recommend to anyone importing using the facility in Southern Oregon, Farwood Farms. The lady who owns it, Penny is WONDERFUL. She truly cares about all the horses there. Its not at all like what its like at the LA airport: they get turn out, good stalls, good food. And she knows her stuff!

are you able to overnight there? I know some people who will be going down to california events in the spring (hopefully me too) and maybe we could over night there if possible

Yes I am pretty sure you can. She mentioned to me that I am welcome to lay over there whenever (ie on the way to Indio or whatever). So I dont see why not.
I would really recommend the place. Not too far off I-5, pretty setting. So if you are heading south and need a place to stay for the night call her and see if she has any stalls available. I know the winter months are her busiest since thats when everyone seems to get new horses to import.
