I know this is the training section but there isn't an area for breeding so here I am. I am seriousley thinking about breeding to Quite Easy and wanted to know if anyone else has foals of his, has worked with them, seen them or him.....good, bad or otherwise, let me know..... :D

he's nice, which mare are you wanting to breed to him? My suggestion would be to breed the one who excels in jumping/dressage, like him. I wouldn't cross a horse who doesn't like to jump (not saying your mares don't like to, its a strength and weakness thing, like you wouldn't breed a crappy thoroughbred mare to a stallion who isn't quite Kentucky Derby quality but still holds his own and cross your fingers for the next stakes winner from them)

Also, have a trainer take a look at him (pictures 360 degrees if you cant go see him) and find his weaknesses, like if he's long in the pastern, weak loin, bad hooves, etc... and breed the mare with those strengths.

good luck with him, he's a beauty

I don't know any of his foals but I quite like the stallion.

Also, alliek's (sp?) advice was very very good. lol.

Man, he's absolutely stunning. If you have a hunter or jumper mare that you think would be a good match, he looks like an excellent choice. However, I would have an expert look at him and your mare as well (preferably a trainer), because things aren't always as they seem.

Good luck! :)
