Well I went to trace clip my horse today only to find our body clippers had rusted out ... So, I bought some dog clippers and started clipping him with those.. needless to say.. I finished one side.. he is covered in lines... and I need new blades and I bought the clippers today  .... But my loving horse was so patient...

Haha! I have had many adventures with a pair of clippers as well... one year my mom and I clipped my horse using two different pairs of clippers with two different size blades, one was a really short one meant for ears and noses and the other was a normal body clip one but lets just say my horse was quite embarrassed all winter about his appearance...

I had normal body clippers.. they were ancient but the massive body clippers... I think they were osters too.. but I don't know...

my horsie just got body clipped!! a really good tip for clipping is to rinse with alot of showsheen before you clip your horse. It makes them SO MUCH easier to clip, it's unbelievable. And it keeps the blades sharper. :D

How are you rinsing with the Showsheen? Mix it with water and pour over them? Spray after they've been washed and are still wet?
