yes, w/ my mare I hve to or she will do a collected canter! she's a very well trained dressage horse

I play with Chy and Britches all the time in there paddock. I will run around in clap (so chy will hear me because she is blind) and Chy will try to match my foot steps, and Britches will chase me around and I will stop and she jumps and thne i chase her around. Its like a game. ha ha. :)

I do that do, all the time during the summer. Zansgoodnews and I do that on Giesha and Chy together and tan. ha ha

I used to hunch ALL the time. horrid habit, but I have slowly been growing out of it.

Not so much anymore - now that I have a horse that I feel safe on, I'm getting far more comfortable. He was body clipped today though, so that made me a bit nervous before I got on. :p

No. I hate raw carrots! But one time, I was thinking like a horse after I took Addy on a long walk (leading), and when we got back and I gave her a carrot, I thought how nice and juicy the carrot must be for her and pictured it being juicy.

Then I remembered. Carrots aren't juicy.

I prefer eating indoors. I don't like bugs on my food. =/

But I do (sometimes) share with my doggie! Not often enough, as I only fix what I like (though sometimes, my stomach won't eat all that food, so I'll give her all else), and I normally like my food too much not to savor every bite. But I try.

And I share with my mouse too.

Our tack room is like a trailer thingy, and the horses (when they get turned out) sometimes step in it, but they're shooed out.

The trailer with the bridles/saddles isn't with the halters and feed, so it's not where the horses can get at it unless someone takes them out of their main place and leads them to it.

Some of them. Not crazy about the Black Stallion because they didn't read the book carefully enough.

I prefer horse books. Black Beauty (oh, the movie just like the book was good, and there was another BB movie that was nice, but I like when they follow the book) and The Horse Whisperer were the best.

BB kinda inspired me to write Robinson, but Robinson isn't really exactly like BB...just a black horse she loses because he only likes her and she's too poor to own him. =(

Another book I loved was Horse Shy, The Saddle Club book 2. I don't think I liked them all, but I did enjoy the ones about Cobalt's son, Samson. And Cobalt, but he died in Horse Shy...and I likethe one where Carole is trying to train Starlight. Very interesting. =)

Naw, there are always people around. I mean, I talk to them, things like saying "goofball," "stoppit," and things like that - but I don't really have conversations or anything. If I had a horse in my backyard, I would talk to them more.

with my mare, full seat unless we're jumping, then I'll get in 2 piont after the jump and let her have a nice n easy canter then whenever i sit, she trots for me, (I taught her that :) ) When I ride Henry another one of our horses, I canter in 3 point because he is a Hunter Jumper and is used to ppl being off his back, and his back is sensitive.

I ride in 3-point for the most part, it's just the way I was taught. Now that I ride at more of a Hunter/Jumper barn rather than a Hunter barn, I sit back and down more. But when I go into the ring, it's always reverted back to that hunter, light seat.

My lease-horse doesn't (if you mean just jerk their head down suddenly; if you mean take the bit and run with it, yes ;)) but a gelding there does often and some of the other horses do, but not as often as him.

Do you ever notice how much more lovable/loving most geldings are? I notice it quite a bit - they're so goofy and cuddly whereas mares seem to be more aloof. This could be just me though x)
