So i am not sure where to post this cuz there is 3 "english" forums so i just choose dressage cuz that is where i am starting my horse at. But can anyone tell me where i can get some breeches that arent really really expensive(i can do expensive) and how to get the right size please? I have an english saddle and i dont want to keep wearing my jeans when using it cuz i am afraid that will ruin it.

I don't buy them, but I have a couple of ideas.
To get the right size, visit any store in your area that has them (phone book or internet can help you find them if you're not sure). If they have any you like that you can afford, there you go...
But if not, try ebay or other online stores. http://Horseloverz.com might have them cheap, I don't know. (I mean, like you said, a little expensive but not very).
Just my ideas.

You can look on Ebay, umm state line tack, smart pack and awhole lot of other sites!! Or you can look at your local tack stores.

I would just go to Dover - they have tons of breeches that suit any price need. Just go by your jean size. :)

Dover Saddlery is the best! They have an awesome selection.

They can be pricy, but you just have to search!

Dover also has great sales. They sell plenty of nice breeches for around $60; the basic Tailored Sportsman (my favorite) sells for $130, if you want to spend a bit more. They're well worth it if you know you'll be using them for a while.

If you're just looking for pants for regular riding and local shows, you can get away with "riding tights" which are significantly cheaper (they run $25-$40)

You need to be fitted for them, because it's not just about your height, but your weight as well. They are measured usually in inches (I wear 32" and am 5'2" and about 113 lbs).
This website might help -- http://www.tcequestrian.com/breeches.htm
Also, since you are starting in dressage I wouldn't recommend buying tan breeches. Get some black or dark blue breeches for schooling and if you plan on showing later on in life, get some nice white full seats.

Well the problem is that there isnt a english place within 35 miles and my parents wouldnt want to drive that. My weight is 125 and i am 5'8. And my waist is 34 so does that mean i need 35 long?

Like I said, go by your waist/jean size. So, if you're normally a 34, go with that. They usually go by even sizes. However, if a 34 is a bit tight on you, you might want to consider going up to a 36 for a looser fit.

So i bought some and i made a deal with 2 of my friends that if they dont fit me then we are going to see if they fit either of my friends then they will buy them. Which they are bound to fit one of them if they dont fit me.
