You might want to include brand, color, etc. ;)

Ok, the saddle is black. I don't think their is a brand thats why I said this would be a good starter saddle to see if you realyl want to get into english riding.

Here is a picture. As I said it does have wear on it. I have done the best I could to clean it up. I got this saddle to start in and know I seriously want to compete in it and this saddle isn't going to get me there. But as I also said this would be good for a starter who is looking to get into english riding.

Hmm...I only ride in a close contact saddle. But my mother on the other hand rides in an all purpose and currently she is a begginer rider and is using my old old O L D all purpose saddle and we have been looking for a new one for her.

I will talk to her about this saddle and see if she is interested.

Thank you :)

I have never bought a saddle brand new. I always buy my saddles off a ebay ;)

Both my mother and I use a 16' also.

Wow, I love English saddles, don't have one yet, and that's cheap (from what I've seen). I would love to buy it, but the other girl is probably going to anyway...

It also depends on if I have the money...I am going to get like $500 graduation money (well, my brother did...but I'm graduating in January, so maybe not...), and I am planning to use quite a bit to buy a boat license for my uncle ($100-150) for his Christmas present ("Did you really think all you were getting was a card??"--he loved it though!) and go down to Galveston with him (either $50 or $100 gas money...forgot which he said, but I think he said $100), and then not worry about how much money it costs to spend a night (or a weekend) in a hotel (two separate rooms or two separate beds). If I still have $200 (assuming he CAN take me, as I don't know when he starts working when he gets his job...he will be working EVERY DAY practically) leftover, I will buy it, Dixie. =)

I hope you could follow all that...

Music, just make sure it's your seat size.

Because of my cursed curves, I ride in a 17.5 (depending on brand) to an 18.

So just be sure of that, and make sure you have money for shipping expenses, too. Dixie lives in Florida, so it'll be shipped :P.

Thanks, Laura.

I'll ask you-know-who what size I am...but I've used at least one (think two) English saddles at the stables with no problem...the thing is, I don't know how big they are...

But I just realized today that everybody's right...I am thin...or I lost more weight? I just hope I'm not too SMALL for the saddle though I think my rear is a little big (it's not nonexistant, haha, at least).

And yeah, I was also worried about shipping, Dixie...I just didn't know what to say about that. But if I find I can ride a 16 inch and do have the money leftover (if I even go), let me know about the shipping...

It's a nice saddle, but I ride in a 17.5. Sorry!

If anyone wants the saddle, I have tall boots to match!

Yeah. But I don't know if she would beacuse you wouldn't want to send your money when you don't have the saddle but I wouldn't want to send the saddle when I don't have the money.

Normally, you ship once the money has been received. But since this isn't over ebay or anything, it's pretty risky if you don't know the buyer.

I changed my mind anyway...I'm not buying anymore horse equipment for a while. Maybe a few years. Whenever I'm ready to buy a horse, I guess. I don't know what I want to use my money on now because he wouldn't take it...so I'm just basically wondering if it will come to me sometime. *shrugs* Not jewelry, not clothes, no horse-stuff...so Idk what I want...but oh well, when it's right it's right. Until then, saving it.
