Hi! I am from Louisville, Kentucky and want to start a riding club for adults (over 18) in my area. I am putting out feelers to see how much of a response I get. I love my horse and love to go riding, but find it difficult to find people to come along on a regular basis.
The idea is still evolving, but I am envisioning something akin to a human/horse relaxation club(kind of an adult pony club). :D We would meet bi weekly or monthly for different activities. Sometimes it would be a trail ride through a park, sometimes a giant group lesson at someone's favorite barn. I would want this to be open to all disciplines and styles. A good way to kick back and just have fun with our horses and each other. I believe there must be more people like me out there that just want to enjoy thier equine companions and not feel pressed to "preform" at every moment.
