I want to know how me and my horse look, cause to me (it might just be me) I look like I am in to muck of a "chair" position. Feel free to give me advise. :)

Hmmm, you're leaning too far forward and you look TENSE beyond belief. Relax your shoulders, sit up, put your heels back (try to keep a straight line from shoulder, to hip, to heel. Always look up. You don't want to burn a hole in the back of your horse's head.

Other than that, Lonestar looks great.

You look a little stiff to me, just relax your arms a bit.

Oh by the way that is a very cute saddle pad! :)

I was looking down to fix my reins. Thanks about the saddle pad.

I can see that now that you said something, but you cant explain it to a judge after they've already made their decision. That's what my mother always told me, there are no excuses in a judges eye, just performance. Not being rude in ANY way, please don't take offense, but just to let you know.

I like it. :) I think your postition is alittle too far forward, and you need to keep your calfs back more. Be sure to keep your heels down too! Lonestar looks BEAUTIFUL, (no doubt about it!)

Thanks, it took a long time to get him to do that.

How do you teach a horse to streach his legs out like that, and make his neck and head be vertical to the rest of his body?

Make a little contact with the bit a see-saw and sit deep and back. (not forward like me.lol.)

Yes, that would be uncomfortable to me. (expecially on Lonestar) :)

I wouldn't seasaw, that's how western people usually do it to get a quick fix. Keeping constant pressure, not hard, should help a little better, or just wiggling your reins.

That is what I ment, I couldn't think of another word to describe to wiggling thing.

I figured, but I didn't want anyone else getting silly ideas of seasawing really hard on their horses mouths.

I try not to be a Know-It-All on here, but sometimes I read the strangest things that can only lead to disaster and I want to "cure the disease" before it spreads. I sometimes feel sorry for the horses judging from what people have said. It's none of you regular people, this was a few months ago.

I actually think your calfs are in just the right position. sit back a bit more (but don't jam your feet forward) and I would keep your elbows in a little more. and don't look down to do your reins :D
