it sounds like your horse has got an aditude. Horses are like kids, they like to play and love on you, but when they don't want to do something they can sometimes throw a fit. In this case your horse is throwing a fit, when you put him in the pin. My guess is he doesn't want to be away from the other horses, and the round pen usually means work for most horses, so maybe he doesn't want to work. I would work him on a lounge line untill he cailmed down, then play with him, but everytime he bucks or pens his ears back or does anything to do with misbehaving make him move, lope him in the round pin, and stop again, pet him. Show him that you want to be nice, but you demand respect, if you don't he will probably never get out of it.
I had a horse that would be great untill you tried to ride to ride her, she would buck, but not because she was scared. She bucked because she had an attitude. When I showed her that I would correct her and would not let her behave that way, she became a great horse. I sold her to my cousin and she loves her. She rides her all the time. It only took me about an hour to fix the problem. Once they know you won't put up with their bad behavior. they behave. I wish you the best of luck.
