just curious cus everyone is a little different, i am trying to get better at reining and working cows in team penning, where you have to have pretty good control of your horses body

my schedule for my horse goes like this
*round penning with only turning in
*then i work on her ground manners, front quarter, hind quarter, side pass, back up...etc
* then i lounge her in a small circle at a trot getting her to bend and turn to the inside.
* then i ride [ bareback on my lazy days and saddled when i am patient]
* while riding i work on moving her body then i canter trot, work on transitions and suppling her head and neck to give to the bit and collect then i do a few slide stops. and work on what she needs work on
* then after cooling her a little at a walk down the road i go over a home aid trail course then do a little pole bending
* then i cool her down and depending on the weather i walk her down the road in hand then give her a treat and put her up

so how dose your schedule go?

I brush them for about 15 minutes

Then I do special exercises to stretch them

Then I do some little ground work with them

The I ride them

Walk for 5 minutes

Trot for 20 minutes

Canter for 20 minutes

During all that I work on their headseat, collection, jog, Ect.

-First its grooming

-Than stretch his legs

-Lungeing in the indoor for a little bit on both sides

-Than get on and walk 4 times around the outdoor ring working on keeping his head down

-Than work on trotting fast trot than slow trot both working on keeping his head down.

-Work on loping a little bit cuz he isnt used to it.

First I groom Tia (about 10 mins)

Then I saddle her up, and walk her around in the arena (about 10 mins)

Then, I trot acouple laps (about 15 mins) while working on Dressage movements and patterns.

Then, I canter for about (20 mins)

Then I jump her a small course of jumps (20 mins)

Then I cool her out (15 mins)

Then I untack her and give her treats for being good (usually!) :)

Let's see-
Grab Maybelline from the field and hook her to cross-ties in the barn
Brush her/tack up (10 mins)
Walk in hand (10 mins)
Mount
Walk around the ring working in-frame (5 mins)
Trot around the ring working in-frame (10 mins)
Begin jumping around 2'9 courses (10 mins)
Raise jumps to 3'3-3'6 courses (20 mins)
Canter around the ring working in-frame (10 mins)
Playtime in the field- galloping (10 mins)
Walk around the ring on a heavy cool down (however long until she stops blowing and cools down)
Rinse her off and let her back out

That comes to about an hour and a half ride. But I mostly do the same routine every time I ride her. Though sometimes we will stick a day and mainly work dressage whereas other times we will mainly work jumping- depends on what sorta of shows I have coming up and what things we need to fine-tune.
