Has anyone tried the Gagavator bits that Dover has just started selling?? I am very intrigued by them and wanted to know if anyone has a product review to share with me! Thanks

I saw those at Hoodriver! They look really cool, My horse Brinka has a really funky mouth and I usually ride her in a mikmar short shank, and I like it but I am always up for new tools to try. I am hoping if I get the money to try and get the 3-ring verson of that bit at The High Desert Classic, I am excited! I will give a review after that if I end up having the $ for it, but I am up for reading anyone elses reviews on it too!

Ok, I broke down and purchased it last night...but since my horses are not here yet I won't have a review till late October..so I am not much of a help! SORRY. If anyone else reviews it, let us know!

The mouthpiece is very interesting. Also if you put it on backwards it could be even more severe. Does anyone know why the mouth piece is like it is?

it LOOKS scary! My regular elevator is enough for me. :)

I agree, that's one scary lookin bit! I probably coultn't even figure out how to attatch it and get it all backwards...my horses wouldn't need anything close to that anyways. My angels :]

I personally think they look like a kind bit. The mouthpiece is double-jointed. If you have soft hands, it would probably be a very useful bit.

It actually is a very functional and not complicated bit, I've never used one myself, but I've seen them you and the horse immediately went round and soften.

They're certainly different looking bits. I usually stick to simple snaffles myself, but I might try one of those. You could go to horsetackreview.com to look for reviews, they usually have some.
