Well, as most of you know, I am in the market for a new saddle. I am planning to buy a new one as soon as I sell my current one (Creek has first say on buying). I have fortunately come across someone who is good friends with a rep from TEX-TAN!!! I am a personal fan of the brand, I absolutely love their stuff. Well, here are my choices:

The Reiner: www.textan.com/61.shtml for $895

Not necessarily in that order. I am leaning towards the Reiner because it is a lighter oil, but if I can get a light oil Preston I am going to jump all over it. These saddles retail for $1200+ and I am so lucky to have found such a wonderful woman to help me out. Let me know what you guys think of them!!! Which are YOUR favorites?

In my uneducated opinion, I think the first one is the prettiest...

I have no idea about western saddles, but I really like the Preston. I think it looks comfortable and nice. And, I think the dark oil will look great on Shaz!

Thanks guys. I know half of you guys don't ride western, but I know the brand of these saddles and know they are VERY well made. I wasn't looking for brand opinions, I know how good they are, I was just looking for overall help as to what might look best.

I like how the first one looks! It looks like the other ones are like flat sorta. I don't know thats just me!

i honestly like the preston it will lokk the best and it might take longer to oil but its still the best saddles

I would say the Preston cause I think the darker that saddle the better on a lighter color horse.
