Ok, the pics are hard to see, so it was hard to tell, but heres what I see:

You seem to be jumping ahead just a bit b/c your leaning on your horse's neck. Also, your stirrup is turned too far out, your toe should be turned further in b/c when it is pointed out you start using your knees to squeeze instead of your calves. You dont look bad at all, but when those things happen, its how riders can fall off.

I know it sounds so critical, but Equitation is my favorite! I love looking at the rider's postition and figuring out what's wrong and what could be improved!

Thanks! Yeah.... thats why we are selling him... i am leaning up like that because i was trained wrong for ten years... now i am at a new trainer who is WAY better! anyways.... he is VERY difficult to ride and he needs a push...heres where the ten years comes in... i was taught to lean forward when i wanted to go.... so when i push to go... i lean and lay on his neck.... but part of it is that i do prefer the look and feel of laying on the neck a bit in hunters and on a round horse... it is eq... but you have to ride him like a hunter... or else!

Wow, ten years and being trained wrong?! That sucks! I'm glad you finally found the right trainer. I trained at a barn where you were trained to jump and show. Than I moved to a dressage barn where they focused more on position. It was so much better!

i forgot something!!!! you noticed the toe!!!!!! that was in the ten years too! 'push your leg forward and turn your toe out!'..... thats what i learned! now I am learning to (on the flat) bring my legs back a smidge and turn my toes in.. (over jumps) turn my toes in
