Lesson Horse

So Shaz might become a part time lesson horse. The place where I board him is putting their own arena in and they have bought a new horse, but she's a bit much for their 9 year old daughter, Rachel. When I come out to ride I let Rachel ride Shaz for a while and her mother and I chat. She does really well with him and he seems to enjoy just mosying along the pasture with her. I've offered to allow her to ride him when she's being supervised, but yeah, I think it'll be good for all three of us: Rachel, Shaz, and myself. Rachel gets the riding time that she needs, Shaz gets exercise, and I don't have to worry about gettin out there every chance I have so I can get my money's worth. ruby is a lesson horse now... for my neice and 2 other girls...

but anyway... looks like shaz is taking good care of her!
