Anyone know where i can get an english saddle set? I have already looked on Craigslist and ebay and nothing there.
Also anyone know a good bit to use for english. Or should i get the same bit that i use for western? I am getting tired of switching the bit back and forth. I use a snaffle for western.

You could try country supply. They have a Kincade english set. Kincades are REALLY good saddles!!!!!

Sometimes you can find Wintec saddle packages online. Those are great saddles!

Thanks for the help. Wintec seems to be what i am probably going to go for. They look nice enough for shows and good for just schooling him.
I wish i could remember the website that had the full saddle packages on it. They had all different kinds of packages and i found one i really liked too but unfortunally i cant remember it.
I think i found what i was looking for. What do you think of these saddle package?

They are both very nice. But I prefer the second one...plus it has lots of ratings from people who are very happy with the set. :p

I will probably go for the second one since that is all purpose and it has more reviews. I am probably going to wait until i get paid next monday to order it.
How would you size that? I think its 2 sizes more than the western saddle. So i have a 15" western saddle so does that mean i get a 16" or 17" english saddle.
Since he has an arabian cross do you think a cob size bridle would be better for him than a full size?
Help please

Being a 15" western, you'll need a 17" English. Definitely don't go full size, they're generally huge! Gam had a good size head but the full size was much too large for him. I would definitely go with a cob.
I agree, I like the second package best. Good luck!

ok thanks for everyones help. I think i will have to wait until they put a 17" on sale. They only have 16" meduim size saddle. I did have a 16" before but my friend kept that saddle. An 18" would be to big wouldnt it?

I would get a navy pad personally!!!! White fleece pad like you use in shows are pretty easy to keep clean, but i would recommend navy!! :)

My palomino looks REALLY good in navy! And if Creek is a dun then he would look good in it! :)

Hes a buckskin most of the time but once he sheds out during the spring and summer he looks more like a dun.
