Here he is! Casper being a perfect gentleman. I love this horse and wish I had the money to buy him, but that's just not an option. My friend owns this horse and has given me explicit and written consent to sell him. His asking price is $5500. Will geld to suit and do post-procedure care for $6000.

Casper is mainly trained in Western Pleasure, HUS, Trail, Showmanship, and Equitation classes of all sorts. He has just now started jumping and is loving it. I spent an hour with him Yesterday (3/16/09) and Today (3/17/09) taking these jumping videos. Casper is just now getting back into shape from having the winter off.

If kept a stallion, the buyer will be pleased to know that he is a perfect gentleman while breeding. Not pushy or aggressive with the nice mares. Also, because of his "stallion brain," he is not good being pastured with or near geldings who are in with "his" mares. He does best in a stall, but is also great in a solitary pasture.

If gelded, Casper will make some kid one HECK of a show horse. He has the heart and brains to do just about anything. This video clearly shows that. He has never had any formal training in jumping, this video was taken his 3rd time ever jumping. The first time was out on the trail just goofing around, the second time was trying to catch the videos, but they didn't turn out, and this was his third time. Great job Cas!

P.S. If you must critique my equitation, please be nice. I am a western girl and have never jumped in my life. I just recently recovered from a dislocated knee (in September '08), so my strength on a horse is still far from perfect.

Edited to add a video of two of his offspring. Casper consistently produces Cremello from Palominos. This is Phantom and Pixie. Phantom is the one being chased. Lol, it's supposed to be a sale video, but he didn't want to run away, he wanted loves. Pixie is only 3 weeks old in the video and still very much attached to her momma.

Bumping up for the night.

If any of you know someone who's looking, he'd make a great kids horse. The kid riding him in the video is 9 years old and rarely rides. He asked if he could help and I gave him the "YEP" look, lol. He regretted it. He didn't have to ride long, but being a boy who doesn't know how to ride in an English saddle... Let's just say he's buying an athletic cup before he offers to help again, lol.

P.S. I know of some fantastic transportation companies with very good rates. I also know of people who take horses to out-of-state shows and may be able to drop him off on the way.

Good luck selling him, wish I had the money....hey, my novel should be finished this year, maybe I'll make it big...

Alliekk, wanted to say I know how it feels to dislocate your knee! Hope you feel better soon! All I can say is ice, heating pads, and an ace knee brace! I have to wear mine for the rest of my life because I can't afford the surgery to prevent my knee from dislocating again, so I wear the knee brace permanently...kinda sucks sometimes, but it's better than having that God-awful pain again! Definitely the most excruciating pain of my life...hope it heals fast for ya!

he's beautiful, and behaves wonderfully for being a stallion. not in the market for a horse right now, and definitely not a cremello, too hard to keep clean! but good luck selling him.
