My second 4H show =D

OMG today was an amazing day!!
When I first entered the show ring Dutch was acting realllyyy tired, and was just walking as slow as he possibly could. But with my first class I did barrels, and I soon as got him in the show ring I cantered him in a circle to get him on the right lead and then just yelled GET! and he took off really fast (for him) and our turns were amazing!! He shyed at the 1st one cuz it was a different color but the other 2 were fine. We got 22 seconds and we took 2nd place!
The next one we did was pole bending, and he was soo good he walked calmly into the arena acting tired but I gave him a light kick and yelled get and he took off, he got way excited after the 1st pole and skipped the second on haha, but we finished the pattern (after the skipp his turns were reallly good).
Flag racing he did great, he shyed at the buckets but I got the flag on the first try and missed throwing it is and got a 5 second penalty. We also took 2nd place which was amazing.
Speed and control, when we entered the ring he got kinda fired up but I checked him and he waited patiently, his turns in the box were amazing and weaving between the cones were super good. Annnddd we took 1st place with 15 seconds!!
Key hole she shyed at the cones and got DQ'ed but it was a ton of fun!
I cant believe today!! We have come so far together!!

I really do think we've come a long way, because when I first started riding him he listened to me but not like he does today, what I love the most was how calm he walked into the show ring even though there were cones, barrels, and poles (things he likes to do) and when I gave him the signal he just too off. =)

I joined 4H because my one friend was in it, and I just went to the meetng with her. In my county you have to join by like March 20th
