Hi guys. I used to get on canter culture ALL the time but have been away for awhile. Anyways, a friend of mine is considering buying a yearling colt out by Vegas Resort and out of an own daughter of OSU Power Slide. He eventually wants him as a calf roper than is nice enough to show in the AQHA circuit. I know most of you are english riders (hunters eventers, dressage, etc.) but i though i would ask what u though about him any ways. If any one on is familiar with preformance quarter horses and has any advice, i would love to hear it. Here's a couple pics of him:

I'm no conformation expert, but he is built severely down hill from what I can see. Maybe his front end just hasn't caught up to his back end yet, he also looks severely sway backed :/ honestly, I don't like him.

He doesn't look too bad... He is a bit small, but for what your friend wants to do he looks to fit the bill. In october I purchased a yearling, he had the same kind of back. With a little time & slow lunge work his topline should flatten out. Give him time to grow & mature, body and mind!
