What Kind of Helmet?

What kinds of helmet do you guys all have. I assume most have GPA, but I was wondering what else. Right now I have a IRH velvet helmet, but I need a new one, I have been in way to many head injuring falls with this helmet, time for a new one. I want to get an IRH ATH, does anyone have one, what do you think of it?

I have a really nice helmet, it's a velvet GPA. It is really comfortable. I used to have and IRH ATH, and if you have the haircut of a boy, then it's not to bad, but you will have to ware a hairnet. If you have hair longer than that, then I really dont suggest it. I toatally go for the GPA, because it will last a lifetime if you take care of it. I had to get very intense hair gel, because I have very very long hair, and the hair gel didnt work. The reason why it doesnt work, is because it has no support where your hairband is, which is VERY un comfortable. My advce: Don't get it and use your money on something more comforatble and will last longer.

I have a CO Hampton for shows. It's comfortable.

I have a GPA too, it is really really comfortable and kind of form-fits to your head over time. But if you want more of a classic look I have noticed that loads of people are wearing the velvet Charles & Owen helmets too, which also look really nice. If you are going to get a new helmet i would definitely suggest one of those.

Hi everyone! I have an IRH! I love it!! I use it for shows and when I am around the barn too. Its black with a black line going down the middle. :D

I have a GPA and i love its SO comfortable. Before it i had a velvet charles owen which i liked a lot too. I wanted to get one of those new Charles Owen GR8's but they didnt fit my head. My mom has one, but they only fit like a really narrow head. Yeah i tried on an IRH or ATH thing but i didnt think it was very comfortable. I would just spend the money and get a GPA if you want a vented one, i think its worth it, they last a long time.

Hey!! I've got a charcoal GPA. I have to wear this stupid helmet-cover-thing, but it keeps it nice for shows.

I don't really want to get a GPA. I have tried one on before and it just didn't fit, but that was like an old style, when they first came out. I think I will either get an IRH ATH or I might get a Charles Owen.

Well........it depends on what size head you have. GPA fits all kinds of heads, ATH is for pin heads, and Charles Owen is made for round heads. I just got a velvet GPA Titanium 57. It has this stuff inside of it that holds the shape of your head. And unlike the other helmets, it has air vents, so I leave it on all day!

get a GR8 by charles owen. they are super comfy. i just wouldn't wear one. haha
