Hello, I'm looking for a good first-time beginner's horse.
Any color, height, breed. But with the height, I'm only 5'2". I mean, if you want to have a good laugh come up where I live and bring your video camera and watch me get on a 17 hand high horse WITH a mounting block. Although I've never ridden a horse that tall, you'd still have a good laugh! LOL I'm just kidding!!! ;)
I prefer geldings because they don't get moody ;)
My favorite colors are duns, buckskins, greys (dappled or not), and palominos. Any color is fine.
A little show experience would be fine (like local 4-H shows).
No spooky horses!
No vices or bad behiavors.
I ride English.
Thank-you! I just wanted to know if anyone had any horses for sale in their area or if they know of any horses. I've searched Horsetopia and all the other websites and I really can't find anything. Thank-you again. :D

PS: I'm sorry if I sound picky or rude, I just don't want to have any bad experiences with a first horse. Do I sound rude? I really don't mean to sound like it. Don't want to upset anyone.

As far as your height, I'm only 5 feet, and I have no problem riding a 17hh horse. I think it's fun =D

Also, you don't sound rude. No one wants any bad experiences with ANY horse, but things happen, so you really can't expect everything to go perfectly.
