OK, so I know it's not winter yet, but it is going to be coming FAST. And where I live, it gets COLD.
When you ride in the winter, does anyone get numb legs? I do! My thighs get super cold and they feel a bit numb...oh, it's so fun to post with numb legs! My instructor is moving to a new barn (I can wait to see it!) and the indoor arena isn't probably heated (who could afford it?! with oil prices being so high!) and I really don't want cold legs.
I ride in jeans and the drafts just seep right through them. Is there anyway to make my legs warmer during winter rides, like maybe a type of riding pants or something?
(Oh, and thank goodness, we don't ride if it is twenty-one degrees or lower.)

Wear flannel pants under your jeans, that's bound to help some.

I live in Florida, but even then, it gets quite cold here some days in winter. Occasionally have to wear winter mittens and a hooded sweatshirt over a longsleeved shirt.

You might be able to use these. I use them durning sking. Get foot warmers. And you put them in your boots. Their like little flat boxes with beads in them. You need to put them in your hand and play with them until they get warm, then you put them in your boots. They get so warm!!!! I use them all the time when sking. Try them in your riding boots!!!! :D :)

Good suggestions guys I will try them.

UHHHHH! Chardon winters seem to last forever!

It's weird because I look forward to snow, and then after Christmas it starts to get on my nerves.

Can't wait till I can drive. I love snow but not when I start to drive.
