I'm not sure if any of you are horse racing fans, but some sad news.

Champion sprinter Lost in the Fog has inoperable tumors in addition to the large one found this week on his spleen and has no more than two weeks to live, trainer Greg Gilchrist told TVG Friday.

Lost in the Fog is one of my favorite race horses, and I was devastated to hear this news. It's horrible, he's a baby still, 4 years old and to be stricken with cancer. I do think the decision to euthanise him is a good one, seeing as he won't have to suffer.

Manda, at least now he will be in a much better place and can frolic around with all of the other horses that have passed on. He is no longer suffering, and that's a very good thing.

I am so sorry. I had a pony for six months and he died of a heart attack. I was 5. It was devastating. :(

Well now, they want to see if they can save him. Tumor-shrinking drugs have failed, so chemotherapy is his last chance. I do hope he pulls through.

Yeah. I know what you mean..... I sold him to you...... my parents didn't tell me for like two weeks, until i found out, i cried for days! his name was Paul..... he was a butt, stopping at every jump and throwing you off, but he was a good guy.... I still miss him. we still have the christmas card we made with him. I though that Time and I would have him forever..... atleast the race horse is going to a better place..... it is hard, but once you think about it, having a tumor isn't very fun.......
